One of the most stunning areas of natural beauty in Britain, is within 30 minutes drive of Bron-Y-Wendon. Snowdonia offers a myriad of attractions, scenic walks and things to do. The Snowdon Mountain Railway takes you to the summit of the famous Mount Snowdon, or go for a long stroll through the fields, gorges and woodlands or even take a boat onto one of many lakes that this fantastic area has to offer. Llanberis (located at the foot of Mount Snowdon) and Betws-Y-Coed (little village by the River Conwy, surrounded by Gwydyr Forest) are both in the National Park and well worth a visit.
Llandudno is a popular Victorian seaside resort, where you can enjoy shopping in town, stroll along the prom & enjoy the views or take in a show at Venue Cymru. Visit Llandudno Pier where there is something for all of the family, there are various shops, cafes and the arcades to enjoy. The Great Orme is an amazing headland overlooking the town, here you will find the Great Orme Tramway, Cable Car, ski and snowboard centre and Bronze Age Copper Mine. Llandudno is approximately 15 minutes drive from Llanddulas.
Conwy is a lovely little town full of history, with Conwy Castle (a World Heritage Site) as it’s main focus. Visit the medieval castle and wander the grounds and admire the beautiful town of Conwy from the castle walls. Inside the town walls you’ll find Plas Mawr (Elizabethan town house) and Aberconwy House(14th century Merchant’s house), cobbled streets and plenty of lovely little shops.The quayside is also worth a visit with great views of the castle. Conwy is only 15 minutes drive from Llanddulas.
Bodnant Gardens based in North Wales, has a beautiful collection of plants also with stunning views of the Carneddau mountains of Snowdonia, makes this a great day out for nature lovers.
For a fun day out for all of the family visit Greenwood Forest Park located in Gwynedd. Activities include Den Building, Jungle Boats, Long Bow Archery and much more. Travel to Greenwood Forest Park is approximately 30 minutes in the car from Llanddulas.
